About
Elizabeth Rose Rowden is an artist and photographer who earned her BA in Digital Technology and Culture with a minor in Fine Art from Washington State University. She was born and raised in small town Burbank, WA.
Elizabeth feels that all living things should be treated kindly and with respect, it is no surprise that speaking out against the injustices of the world has been a main theme in her work.
When she isn’t working at ArtWalla Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her partner, cat, family, and friends playing board games, building puzzles, reading, and painting. Her goals in life are to travel the world and continue photographing and designing for groups who are working to make the world a better place.
"We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."
-Elie Wiesel
